Q: Why is there no “Chapter Twelve” in the A.A. “Big Book”?
A: We do not know, but here is what as some of us have heard:

“Your group’s story is your own ‘Chapter Twelve’!”

We do not know what the early A.A.s might have said about that, but here we are now and here is our group’s story of “sure power and safe guidance from God as we were increasingly better able to understand [more about] Him…” –”Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions“, Step Twelve

Beginning with personal recovery for each of us:

“…where there had [seemed but] a trickle, there now was a river which led to sure power and safe guidance from God as we were increasingly better able to understand Him.
“So, practicing these Steps, we had a spiritual awakening [educational variety] about which finally there was no question.  Looking at those who were only beginning and still doubted, the rest of us were able to see the change setting in.  From great numbers of such experiences, we could predict the doubter who still claimed he hadn’t got the ‘spiritual angle’, and who still considered his/her well-loved A.A. group the higher power, would presently love God and call Him by name.” –”Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions“, Step Twelve

But then since the word “God” is not anybody’s name, we next wondered:

מי עלה־שׁמים וירד מי אסף־רוח בחפניו מי צרר־מים בשׂמלה מי הקים כל־אפסי־ארץ מה־שׁמו ומה־שׁם־בנו כי תדע
Who has gone up to the heavens and come down?
Who has gathered the wind in His fists?
Who has bound the waters in a garment?
Who established all the ends of the earth?
What is His Name, And what is His Son’s Name, If you know it? -Proverbs 30:4

Here is the answer we have found:

יהוה עזי ומעזי ומנוסי ביום צרה אליך גוים יבאו מאפסי־ארץ ויאמרו אך־שׁקר נחלו אבותינו הבל ואין־בם מועיל
O יהוה, my strength and my stronghold and my refuge, in the day of distress
the gentiles shall come to You from the ends of the earth and say,
“Our fathers have inherited only falsehood, futility, and there is no value in them.”
היעשׂה־לו אדם אלהים והמה לא אלהים
Would a man make mighty ones for himself, which are not mighty ones?
לכן הנני מודיעם בפעם הזאת אודיעם את־ידי ואת־גבורתי וידעו כי־שׁמי יהוה
“Therefore see, I am causing them to know, this time I cause them to know My hand and My might.
And they shall know My Name is יהוה!” -Jeremiah 16:19-21

…and now tie that back to this from our Basic Text:

“…there is One who has all power – that one is God.” –”Alcoholics Anonymous“, page 59

…and now all of that quite logically points to here:

Other than our names, faces and group autonomy, nothing about our NoNameYet A.A. Fellowship group makes it much different than any other.  Just as in the earliest days of A.A., our members represent “many political, economic, social, and religious backgrounds…people who normally would not mix…wrecked in the same vessel, [then] restored and united under one God, with hearts and minds attuned to the welfare of others” (“Alcoholics Anonymous“, pages 17 & 161).
